Just finished a new version of my State of the Art in Server Side Java document. I removed some irrelevant stuff, and added some pages about JAXB 2.0. I also updated all examples to follow the latest versions of the JSRs.
In the next version I will remove everything about Hibernate, and instead concentrate on EJB Entity Beans 3.0. After I published the original document in July last year it has been downloaded almost 29,000 times. My 15 minutes of fame is over now, I guess.
Here's the contents of the new version of the document:
- Annotations
- Dependency Injection
- Hibernate today
- EJB 3.0 Entity Beans
- EJB 3.0 Session and Message Driven Beans
- AOP with annotations
- New stuff in Tiger, Mustang and Dolphin
- WS annotations
- JAXB 2.0
- Scripting languages
